Starting Pay: $21.00/hrPosition Summary Description:
Manages the receiving of product and upkeep of equipment while meeting company standards. Addresses all receiving related issues, ensures the department operates efficiently, and creates an atmosphere focused on delivering high quality customer service and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates lift truck or other equipment to receive product into the warehouse.
Transports palletized products to proper warehouse slots.
Replenishes primary pick slots from secondary pick slots.
May assist in receiving area or with will call orders.
Moves empty pallets.
Follows established safety standards for proper food handling and date rotation procedures.
Responsible for general housekeeping in the warehouse.
Performs similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Assembles customer orders, accurately picking product as needed.
Complies with HAACP Plan guidelines and protocols. Displays GMP including receiving, storing, and presentation of products.
Protects all assets of the company, including facilities, products, the ChefZone and Y. Hata & Co., Ltd. brands.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Entry-level. On-the-job training provided.
Education/Training and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
One year experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in the foodservice industry.
Must be able to successfully complete in-house forklift certification test.
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
