Position: Insurance Application Support Analyst
Duration: Temp to Hire
Location: HYBRID in Clearwater FL
Skills: | P&C, SQL, API- preferred, 3 prod support |
** ONSITE MINIMUM 3 DAYS a week**
P&C experience required / Majesco preferred
Must be excited about moving into IT.
Must have: App support and P&C (must have insurance non-health)
- The manager is willing to do some technical training for the app support, but due to the current team stack cannot sacrifice solid business knowledge.
- The manager would be willing to consider a (technical) BA or BA interested in a more technical career path.
- Preference to Bas with app support.
- Major bonus points for Majesco specific knowledge
- Candidates will be required to take aptitude test (proctored by FrankCrum)
- Candidates must be willing to convert.
Purpose
The purpose of this position is to promote sales and client retention through excellent customer service by taking an active leading role in supporting the various applications used by Frank Winston Crum Insurance.

Reporting
This position reports to the Insurance Applications Development & Data Analytics Manager and does not supervise any other employees.
Essential Duties
1. Leads the role in triaging production support tickets.
2. Learns the Applications to the depth required to be able to properly support them.
3. Operates and supports the services you own to the established SLAs. This includes managing an on-call rotation and ensuring prompt incident response to resolve issues.
4. Reviews Operational metrics, lead root cause analysis of issues, and drive appropriate resolutions.
5. Collaborates with a team of onshore Business Analysts to design, build, validate and deploy software solutions.
6. Works closely with Infrastructure, and other DEV teams to support the software delivery process.
7. Maintains excellent communication with IT Management on all tasks and projects.
8. Provides reports on IT systems performance and logging to management.
9. Assures compliance requirements are met for the Insurance area.

2. Knowledge of SQL Relational Database and API is a plus but not required
3. Knowledge of web development is a plus but not required

Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
2. 3 years of doing production support and preferably 1 years in supporting commercial insurance applications.
3. Ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts as well as communicate this information to technical and non-technical team members.
4. Experience in working in a Commercial Insurance company.
