Job Description: Mid-Level UX Designer
About the Role:
As a UX Designer, you'll be a key member of our product team, working alongside product managers, account managers, and engineers to define and deliver exceptional user experiences across a variety of products, including web/digital interfaces, hardware, APIs, and integrated user journeys. You'll play a crucial role in shaping product strategy, brainstorming new features, and advocating for the user throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
What You'll Do: Collaborate Strategically:
- Partner with product managers, account managers, and engineers to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints across diverse product areas.
- Lead Discovery and Research: Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user behavior and needs across multiple surfaces.
- Design User-Centered Experiences: Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for digital interfaces, and contribute to the design of hardware interactions and API usability.
- Iterate and Improve: Analyze user feedback, usability testing results, and analytics data to continuously iterate and improve the user experience across all product touchpoints.
- Communicate Effectively: Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders clearly and persuasively, considering the complexities of integrated hardware, software, and API experiences.
What You'll Bring:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your experience in designing user-centered experiences, ideally including examples of work beyond purely digital interfaces.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Figma (or other design tools).
- Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
- 3-5 years of experience in UX design.
