Web Administrator - Remote (U.S.)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Web Administrator to manage and support the migration of multiple related websites. This role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing a large-scale website with over 3,000 pages. The Web Administrator will work closely with IT teams and content managers to ensure seamless content transitions, accessibility compliance, and performance optimization. This position requires strong expertise in Drupal CMS, web design, accessibility standards, and front-end development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of website migrations, ensuring content remains functional, accessible, and user-friendly.
Collaborate with IT teams to optimize website speed, reliability, and scalability.
Test code, designs, and content for browser and device compatibility.
Monitor website analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Serve as the main liaison between the Communications team and IT Web Services.
Provide technical guidance and support to web content contributors.
Implement best practices for website performance, security, and SEO.
Maintain and update website content through Drupal CMS.
Ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA.
Troubleshoot and resolve accessibility issues, assisting with remediation efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
7 years of experience in web administration and design for large-scale websites.
Proven experience managing content through Drupal CMS.
Strong portfolio showcasing complex web design and user-centered design principles.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and back-end integration.
In-depth knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and accessibility testing tools.
Hands-on experience with accessibility remediation.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first strategies.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience preparing user documentation and UX artifacts.
Ability to stay updated on emerging web technologies and trends.

Work Environment:
100% Remote Must be based within the United States.
