Fuels Transport Driver DOE $50,000 Annually including commission

A professional, career-focused St. Romain Oil Fuels Transport Driver:
• Is responsible for transport and delivery of fuel products safely and efficiently from refinery terminals to bulk plants and end-user customers.
• Maintains required drivers’ license and certifications under state and federal law and provides copies as needed to supervisor (i.e., CDL & HazMat endorsement).
• Is responsible for the vehicle’s compliance with federal, state, or local rules and regulations.
• Interacts with customers and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Provides basic maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Completes vehicle inspection reports prior to commencing workday and after completing workday.
• Completes customer invoice prior to leaving the delivery site.
• Uses tank gauges, measures the tank before and after filling, logging the results on the customer’s invoice.
• Performs occasional minor repairs to pumps and hoses.
• Handles any spill according to HazMat, DOT, Fire Marshal, or any other authorities’ requirements.
• Ensures compliance with all terminal regulations and restrictions.
• Assists in other areas of the bulk plant business at the direction of the Wholesale Manager.
• Strives to continually improve work performance through proper training.
• Works a fluctuating schedule as directed by the Wholesale Manager.

Education/Experience
• High School Education and 1 year of professional driving experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in fuel distribution industry preferred.
Licensing/Registration/Certification
• Class A CDL driver’s license with X endorsement (HazMat and Tanker Endorsement); and
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
