What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Y-Not Stop?
The primary function of a Maintenance Technician is to assure the proper functioning of all company equipment.
1.Class B CDL drivers license preferred but Not Required.
2.Electrical and/or mechanical certification preferred but Not Required.
1.High School Education/GED and 2 years of maintenance-related experience; or Vo-Tech certificate or degree/certification in related field and 1 year of maintenance-related experience; or
2.Equivalent combination of education and experience.
3.Prior experience in retail/convenience store industry and/or wholesale/petroleum distribution industry preferred.
1. Responsible for maintenance of facility structures/plumbing/electrical, fuel dispensers, convenience store equipment, tanks, and deli equipment such as fryers, ovens, grills, food warmers, etc.
2.Responsible for providing service to company vehicles.
3.Collects repair orders from Maintenance Manager daily.
4.Completes maintenance portion of work orders listing all parts used on the work order and attaching any receipts for parts purchased.
5.Maintains an adequate supply of routine parts used on a regular basis in company vehicle.
6.Maintains knowledge of all parts located at the warehouse and uses these parts whenever possible to reduce parts costs.
7.Takes immediate action to correct any potential safety hazards.
