Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Mix paints to achieve desired colors and finishes based on color theory principles.
- Perform residential painting tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow safety protocols while working with hazardous materials and equipment.
Skills
- Strong understanding of color theory and its application in painting projects.
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
