What You'll Do
- Assist Engineering Technical Representatives with establishing, implementing, and documenting the basis for administrative and technical procedures. Gains familiarity with the regulatory and administrative requirements affecting procedures and determines the requirements that apply to procedures
- Prepare, route, and control procedure drafts, collecting and documenting comments from designated reviewers
- Interface with personnel from engineering and other groups to coordinate procedure reviews and comment resolution
- Along with designated technical disciplines, implement controls, capture quality and performance data, and ensure that the procedure can be performed as written
- Verify draft procedures against requirements and validate procedures to ensure they can be performed safely as written
- Ensure procedures are technically adequate and written to a level of detail consistent with the qualifications and training of the expected users
- Participate in procedure process assessments to verify compliance with requirements, as needed
- Identify procedure process improvements, and work with Engineering Technical Assurance management to implement improvements

Minimum Job Requirements
- Highschool Diploma
Preferred Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a communications, education, journalism, or science discipline with 1.5 years of experience in the National Security Complex
- Experience in commercial nuclear industry, in the nuclear navy, or in manufacturing is also of value
- Experience in writing administrative and technical operational procedures, maintenance procedures, or process procedures
