What You'll Do
Interfaces with organizations across the Y-12 site to establish records repositories within the Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) with a focus on digitization/scanning projects and initiatives. Performs data analysis and mapping of metadata in the ERMS; interprets federal records retention requirements utilizing the Federal Records tools to determine records life cycle of both physical and electronic records; completes Software Quality Assurance documentation and testing for the ERMS system; work both independently and with other records professionals, site personnel and DOE/NNSA representatives on records-related activities and initiatives with particular emphasis on digitization/scanning; under minimum supervision, researches and interprets applicable DOE orders, regulations and standards to identify mandatory records requirements; assists with functional related assessments and evaluations for compliance; and gathers and interprets data for the purpose of process improvement. Teams with other records analyst to develop and author records management related procedures, guidance, and training. Prepares and delivers functional related training, to include digitization/scanning processes to internal and occasionally external organizations and customers. Prepares a variety of written summaries, documents, and reports relative to digitization/scanning projects, electronic records management, and general records management activities. Participates in development and implementation of new methods and/or processes as member on special records management initiatives project teams as required. Establish, monitor, and maintain metrics for digitization/scanning projects

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in a business discipline, combined with at least 2 years of related experience
- OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience
- Position requires a Q clearance, or the ability to obtain and retain a Q clearance
Preferred Job Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding and application of records management requirements and governing flow-down documents, digitization/scanning processes, digitization/scanning hardware, and digitization/scanning software applications; working knowledge of electronic records management technologies and applications
- Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated experience developing professional relationships and working in a team and customer service environment to achieve and effect successful completion of job assignments in support of the company mission
- Requires good working knowledge and understanding of the company business and operations support, processes, policies and procedures or equivalent transferable skills
- Familiarity with classified information and document handling requirements with both physical documents/records and classified information systems
- Skilled in the use of various office computer software applications; to include Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Electronic Database Management Systems (EDMS) desired
