What You'll Do
The Configuration Analyst supports the UPF Design Authority group by assigning training profiles and monitoring the system for incomplete/requalification’s. They will work with Mission Managers to ensure their job requisitions are managed in a timely manner. The Configuration Analyst also assists in implementing applicable support projects, processes and associated deliverables for the Design Authority group. Responsible for assisting in the procedure and documentation reviews and policies. Develops and/or analyzes and revises existing administrative operations and management controls, including standard practices, operating procedures, management systems, and reporting documentation. Develops and/or coordinates improved policies, methods, procedures, instructions, and forms to achieve greater operations efficiency and cost-effectiveness for the Design Authority organization, that have an impact on all of Mission Engineering employees. Responsible for developing plans to achieve tasks and goals established by the Design Authority Senior Director and Directors. Ensures consistency among presentations, deliverables and documents generated by Design Authority Management.
Responsibilities Include:

- Primary lead for tracking of the hiring process
- Assigning Training profiles to new hires
- Making changes in the CNS business system (SAP)
- Facilitate team meetings
- Coordinate POW/POD

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- OR a Master’s degree
- OR 10 or more years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting
- In addition, the applicant must meet the requirements of DOE O 426.2 (i.e., Baccalaureate in engineering or related science and 4 years nuclear experience, or a DOE O 426.2 alternative). DOE O 462.2 requirements can be satisfied following employment
Preferred Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related discipline combined with at least 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Other Preferred Requirements Include:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with CNS Engineering Procedures and Policies; proficiency and experience in project administrative engineering functions
- Proficient in the operation of a personal computer and the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows & Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with System Application Products (SAP)
