Summary
As a YA Senior Equipment Loss Consultant, you will lead a team of experts on equipment loss investigations. You will provide high quality consulting services, including inspections, evaluations, and value damage assessments of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment for YA's principal clients - insurance companies, third-party adjusters, law firms, independent businesses, and insureds. You will deliver detailed written reports outlining your expert recommendations, the extent of damage, and cost to return equipment to its pre-loss condition, determined by performing financial analysis.
As a consultant, you will foster strong client relationships and contribute to business growth in your region. The ideal candidate has an established network of clientele and is experienced with building and maintaining rapport within this network.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead a team of consultants on complex projects, providing development, training, and mentoring to ensure their expertise in all aspects of project work.
- Conduct quality control reviews of junior consultant work product, before submission to the client, ensuring all project deliverables are accurate and timely.
- Ensure workload is evenly distributed amongst experts.
- Schedule and conduct inspections and field assessments to evaluate damage to electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment.
- Analyze relevant information to prepare damage estimates, project scopes, and comprehensive written reports.
- Drive regional growth by recruiting consultants and actively participating in business development efforts. Build and maintain rapport with existing clients, while also generating new work for yourself and your team of experts.
- Partner with business development representatives, attending conferences and events to promote the company and the skills of expert staff.
- Collaborate with vendors to determine optimal damage correction strategies and associated costs.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the claims process.
- Perform financial analysis of invoices, budgets, schedules, and reports on behalf of clients.
- Compile and processes data tables.
- Communicate and correspond regularly with clients, insurance companies, adjusters, and insureds.
- Participate in regular client meetings.
- Provide high quality continuing education courses to clients as needed.
- Work independently or as part of a team, depending on project size.
- Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
