Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises & Events operates Florida's largest and premier fleet of dining and wedding yachts out of Clearwater Marina and Tampa Channelside. Our dining cruises consist of lunch and dinner, private events, corporate functions, social gatherings, beautiful weddings and much more.

Yacht StarShip also owns and operates Pirate Water Taxi with a fleet of water taxis offering hop-on hop-off service at 15 stops along the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. The Bay Rocket jet boat thrill ride, Tampa Riverwalk Rentals offering bike, paddle board and kayak rentals, the Lost Pearl pirate ship offering pirate adventures and sunset cruises. As well as Craft, a European style 121-foot dining vessel is conveniently docked near Sparkman Wharf and offers premium dining experiences while cruising along the Hillsborough River and passing beneath the low bridges.

  • Applicants should have at least 1- 3 years CURRENT experience in fine dining and / or high volume.
  • Shifts include serving private parties, lunch and dinner cruises and lots of weddings.
  • Must be energetic, have a great attitude and work ethic. Our yachts are 2-3 stories each.

Duties

  • Service bars for Wait-Staff as well as bars with direct guest interaction.
  • Sailing depends on the event and ranges from seated service, where guests are ordering from the menu, and buffets and cocktail style.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel to our Clearwater location as needed.

    • Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic knowledge of restaurant service.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and sanitation, be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
  • physically able to lift and carry loads of up to 50 lbs properly, reach levels up to seven feet in height, maneuver and work in spaces as narrow as 1 1 / 2 feet and work productively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have knowledge of and be able to use all bar equipment and appliances.
  • Able to understand and follow verbal / written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.

    • MATERIAL / EQUIPMENT USED

  • General restaurant equipment including Point of Sale system. Basic residential cleaning equipment and supplies such as vacuums, and Windex.
