Position Overview
The Individual Sales Manager’s main responsibility is to increase individual ticket sales for Manthey Hospitality. This includes all brands: Yacht StarShip, Pirate Water Taxi, Lost Pearl, Craft, Tampa Riverwalk Rentals, Bay Rocket and future growth of the company. Responsible for standing up and managing our Street Team with remote ticket booths/kiosks near Sparkman Wharf and along the Tampa Riverwalk. Manage the concierge/front desk program with local hotels and work with our Marketing team to create a Tampa Riverwalk website and combo ticket offerings.
The ideal candidate will have stellar organizational skills and excel at face-to-face interaction with fellow front-line hospitality workers.
Responsibilities
- Leading a passionate and effective Street Team. Hiring, coaching, scheduling, including manning positions no matter the circumstance is all a part of being an effective leader in this position.
- Creating Street Team’s uniform and adherence to the policy once set.
- Assist with kiosk design, layout and branding.
- Distribute brochures, calendars and pertinent information to all area hotels, convention center, tourist attractions, marinas, residences, etc. bi-weekly or as needed.
- Secure and maintain rack distribution locations in hotels, condo towers and office buildings.
- Be the main contact between the local hotel font desk/concierge personnel for Manthey Hospitality, and local Pirate Perks locations. Maintain strong professional connections across our hospitality partners.
- Work with the Director of Sales on presentations to hotels and partners promoting Manthey Hospitality.
- Provide detailed weekly reports to include; daily sales activity (tickets sold/brochures handed out/ new accounts), key account meetings and challenges, weekly commission reports for street team and concierges.
- Attend weekly meetings with Reservations, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Work with Marketing on the creation of Tampa Riverwalk’s website and ticket combo offerings
- Work closely with the Reservations team, GM of PWT, BR, LP & TRR, Marketing team & Sales team.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Benefits
Salary: $52,000 $5k-$15k in monthly and annual incentives.
The position is full-time and includes a full suite of benefits which are effective the first of the month following just 30 days of employment. Employees over the age of 18 are eligible to participate in our company sponsored 401k plan after 6 months.

Qualifications
- Outgoing and assertive friendly disposition
- Must be organized, self-motivated, energetic and a dependable team player
- Able to work effectively unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills and general computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel), able to create simple flyers, contribute to our social media platforms, create reports showing detailed daily and weekly activity reports
- Must have reliable transportation
- Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays and able to maintain a flexible schedule
Education & Experience
- High school diploma required, 2 year college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years in customer service and/ or sales required
- Minimum 1 year in management role preferred
Salary : $5,000 - $15,000
