What are the responsibilities and job description for the Montessori Floater position at Yadkin Path Montessori?
Yadkin Path has an opening for a respectful, compassionate, flexible floater to:
- work with children ages 0 to 6 years old,
- 2:00/2:30 to 6:00/6:30 pm
- with pay based on education and certifications.
We are a small, nature-focused school with a close-knit community. Our goal is to create a living environment where children, our hope for the future, can thrive. We are on a 9-acre campus with a pond, woods, and meadows, a perfect setting for both children and teachers to grow, and for safer childcare during the pandemic.

Requirements:
- Respectful approach to interacting with children
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn, try, fail, experiment
- Fulfillment of NCDCEE minimum requirements for working in childcare
Responsibilities include:
- Offering bathroom breaks and support to staff;
- Preparing materials for classrooms;
- maintaining the clean, beautiful school environment;
- substituting as needed;
- modeling graceful social skills.
