Job Summary:
KEMET Electronics is seeking an Electronic Maintenance Technician in the Simpsonville, SC location. The technician will provide electronic/mechanical support on manufacturing equipment to include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment modifications and upgrades. This position is on 1st shift.
Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment.
- Solid working knowledge of computer and PLC based equipment/systems.
- Mechanical experience and proficiency
- Ability to read and follow schematics, interpret wiring diagrams, follow test procedures.
- Knowledge of Industrial Network systems and MES systems a plus.
- Proficient with PLC and HMI programming software, as well as Microsoft Office Tools.
- Ability to work with teams and effectively document and communicate results.
- Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills. Self-Driven
- Excellent teamwork skills which include demonstrating a positive attitude, good work ethic and sense of urgency in completing tasks/projects (driven)
Responsibilities:
- Provide electronic/mechanical support on manufacturing equipment to include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment modifications and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic controls, instrumentation, vision systems, and PC based test equipment. Suggest and implement approved ideas that reduce potential for repeat downtime.
