Infrastructure Engineer II
The individual in this role is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. They are the primary contributor to the creation of infrastructure tools and their integration as an infrastructure service. The role facilitates deployment of technical solution by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. They consistently look for opportunities to improve the reliability and efficiency when implementing and maintaining infrastructure tools and/or services. This individual embraces a culture that drives innovation and continuous improvement.

- Assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies.
- Conduct on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption.
- Assist in evaluation of reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to ensure they are a fit for purpose.
- Develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient process
- Assist Technical Analysts and Infrastructure Engineers by ensuring that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards.
- Contribute to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains.
- Act as a consultant on a range of technologies where he or she is a subject matter expert.
- Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
- Has the knowledge and expertise of supporting production environments, and associated maintenance, change, control, incident and problem management.
- Has demonstrated the ability to design and develop significant components within an application/infrastructure/software; has performed design reviews.
- Subject matter expert on bank standards and best practices, and continuous integration and continuous and continuous integration and continuous deployment. Ability to configure tools and processes to support DevOps strategies.
- Designs architecture and drives optimal solutions. Ensures design reviews and compliance with bank standards for information security and infrastructure standards.

- Working knowledge of products, services, business flows and understanding of financial context in which technology and operating principles are used within their business area.

- Initial exposure and working knowledge of project management fundamentals, enterprise change management policies and standards, and lifecycle management (i.e., both Agile/Waterfall
- methodologies).
- Understands the roles and responsibilities of other teams who participate in the software /
- infrastructure lifecycles and engages as required.
- Basic understanding of financial data and the impact that their role has within a team.
- Has a basic understanding of experience design principles and familiar with the bank brand and
- accessibility guidelines.
- Demonstrates ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in highly unstable situations.
- Uses a combination of factual and emotional points to exert influence. Receives agreement to ideas by identifying and working collaboratively with specific stakeholders and senior managers.
- Sets KPI's for teams to follow. Makes decisions about technology that will increase or deliver business value.
