Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mailroom Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of mail and packages within the organization, ensuring efficient processing and distribution. This position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments or individuals.
- Prepare outgoing mail by ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and postage.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail for tracking purposes.
- Operate various office equipment, including postage machines and scanners.
- Assist with data entry tasks as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to mail services.
- Manage inventory of mailing supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to support overall office operations.
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on organization and time management.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with internal staff and external vendors.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Google Suite applications.
