Key Responsibilities
The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing direct care services, ensuring the health, safety, and wellness of the people we support, and actively carrying out progressive teaching style. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong writing skills required; an ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize data through detailed progress notes.
- To provide direct care services as needed, which includes but is not limited to, provision of counseling, training in ADLs, assistance with personal care, medical, dietary, social, sexual, recreational, financial, habilitative and other needs within the program.
- To maintain a conducive learning environment through various methods such as Personal Outcome Measures, Person Centered Thinking, Informed Decision Making.
