Position Title: Program Analyst I (Community Resource Specialist/Data Analyst)Location: Yakima County District Court (DUI Unit)Pay Range: $32.40 - $41.10 per hour (AFSCME-87 Pay Plan, C42 Step 1-13)Hiring Range: $32.40 - $34.39 per hour (AFSCME-87 Pay Plan, C42 Step 1-4 DOQ)Closing Date: January 27, 2025Yakima County District Court’s DUI Supervision Unit is seeking a Program Analyst I to join its team. This position, also known as a Community Resource Specialist/Data Analyst, plays a dual role, combining data analysis with direct client interaction to support individuals at high risk of reoffending. The successful candidate will contribute to the unit's mission by analyzing program data, coordinating resources for clients, and fostering community partnerships.Key Responsibilities: Client Support & CoordinationWork directly with clients to identify and facilitate access to services such as education, job readiness, life skills, and job placement.Maintain and update a database of community resources, ensuring accessibility from a client perspective.Develop educational and informational materials for clients, partners, and the public.Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze program data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Develop and maintain data collection systems and monitor performance metrics.Produce reports for senior leadership, stakeholders, and policymakers.Assess the impact of community supervision programs on recidivism rates and recommend program improvements based on evidence-based practices.Minimum Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field AND two (2) years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the criminal justice system, community supervision, or related government programs.Two (2) years of case management experience.OR an equivalent combination of education and experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job successfully.Requirements: Valid Washington State driver’s license and proof of insurance, if requested.Successful completion of a criminal background investigation and general employment verification.Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish (verbal only).
