What You’ll Do:
- Conducts patient X-ray procedures and stores X-rays
- Completes periodontal charting, prepares tools for Provider exams
- Performs preventative periodontal care and assists with restorations
- Administers local anesthesia and nitrous oxide
- Provides oral hygiene education and formulates treatment plans
- Supports infection control program and provides input for clinic efficiency improvements
- May participate in the development, implementation, and coordination of dental education programs provided inside and outside the organization
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a Dental Hygiene school
- Active WA State Dental Hygiene license
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at level 10 for bilingual differential pay
- Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene concepts
- Skilled in dental anesthesia and restorative procedures
- Ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues of all ages
- Effective time management and resource utilization to efficiently complete work within set deadlines
- High level of dexterity and coordination
- Basic proficiency with Electronic Dental Records, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
