As a Janitor, you will have the opportunity to:
- Performs janitorial duties including but not limited to cleaning, sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, disinfecting, dusting, and emptying garbage cans.
- Ensures that assigned buildings, grounds and other designated areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with established guidelines based on site specific needs.
- Maintains parking lots and walkways year-round including snow removal and ice mitigation as weather dictates based on site specific needs.
- Assist maintenance personnel on maintenance task; e.g… repairs, inspections and testing
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- One year's janitorial experience is preferred.
- First-Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of assorted cleaning chemicals used in Janitorial duties.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
- This position requires a pre-employment physical assessment.
