We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Astoria, OR.

Compensation Package
The ideal candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $38.96 - $46.98, based on experience, plus a sign-on bonus of $3,000 in the first paycheck and a $2,000 bonus at 12 months. Additionally, relocation assistance of up to $10,000 is available for candidates relocating more than 50 miles (prorated based on FTE).
Job Responsibilities
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will conduct nutritional screenings and assessments, provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to advocate for optimal nutrition care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients/clients
- Utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to identify desired goals and outcomes of nutrition care
- Evaluating patient/client nutrition status and its relationship to complex disease states
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Providing preventative services and counseling to promote healthy lifestyle choices
- Serving as a preceptor and developing training materials to support professional growth and development
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's Degree in Nutrition or a related field from a U.S. regionally accredited college, university, or foreign equivalent. Experience in a clinic, primary care, outpatient, or community setting is preferred. As a registered Dietitian or registration eligible, you must obtain your RD credential within 180 days of employment.
Salary : $39 - $47
