We are seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic. As a pharmacist, you will be an integral part of a healthcare organization that values inclusivity and community well-being.
Our clinic is one of the region's leaders in community health centers, with 40 clinics across Washington and Oregon. We offer a wide range of services, including medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontia, nutrition, and behavioral health.
As a pharmacist, you will have access to patient charts, labs, medications, and diagnoses. You will be involved in all aspects of patient care and have the ability to prescribe or modify care plans via collaborative agreements.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct oversight of pharmacy personnel
- Ensuring the security of the pharmacy area
- Maintaining accurate records and inventories
- Dispensing prescriptions correctly according to provider authorization and YVFWC policies
- Staying up-to-date with pharmacological knowledge and licensure requirements
To be considered for this position, you must complete a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and have a current Oregon State Pharmacist License. A PharmD Degree and Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills are preferred.
