This key role involves sourcing and acquiring raw materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently.
Main Objectives:
- Sourcing and acquiring high-quality raw materials at competitive prices.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Negotiating pricing, delivery, and lead times with suppliers to achieve maximum value.
- Monitoring and analyzing inventory levels to optimize stock management.
- Identifying and mitigating supply risks through effective risk management.
- Supporting company initiatives related to Lean manufacturing, safety, and environmental sustainability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven track record in sourcing and acquiring high-quality materials.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
