Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a steady supply of raw materials and hardware to meet production demands.
- Plan and monitor inventory using tools like JIT, Kanban, and replenishment programs.
- Own and manage special projects related to procurement and planning.
- Collaborate with suppliers to provide regular forecasts and ensure long-term supply.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery, and lead times with suppliers.
- Analyze and resolve supply issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
- Support company initiatives related to Lean manufacturing, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Manage ERP/MRP system data and generate purchase orders to track and manage inventory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in planning or procurement in a manufacturing setting.
- Advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., APTEAN, SAP, Oracle).
- Expertise in inventory systems and supply planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- APICS/CPIM certifications (strongly preferred).
