About This Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Nurse to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and professional duties to ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform angiography and other imaging procedures to produce high-quality images
- Supply physicians with all disposable or other equipment to perform procedures
- Perform various clerical and record-keeping functions utilizing the HIS, RIS, PACS, and procedure QA modules
You will work closely with our Interventional Radiology Manager and/or Assistant Chief Technologist to ensure that all duties are performed according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- RT(R) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficient in routine IR imaging techniques and above-average knowledge of computer/PACS applications
- Good organizational and communication/customer service skills
