Key Responsibilities
As a Cardiac Diagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a range of complex physiological equipment in the clinical laboratory setting.
- Performing cardio-neuro diagnostic testing independently or with direction from a cardiologist.
- Maintaining essential records and dispatching tests and results according to department policy and procedure manual.
- Assisting with neurology testing (EEG) independently or with direction from a neurologist.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Cardiac Diagnostic Technician, you will need:
- A High School diploma.
- A BLS Certificate; Certificate for non-invasive testing optional.
- The ability to sit, stand, and bend, with the capacity to assist patients onto bed from wheelchair, stretchers, etc., and move equipment approximately 500lbs on rollers when necessary.
