A Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in facilitating accurate radiologic diagnoses under the supervision of our department. This position involves providing exceptional patient care, operating complex radiographic equipment, and ensuring high-quality imaging through meticulous positioning and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing technical and interpretive tasks to support radiologic diagnosis
- Operating highly complex radiographic equipment in various settings, including operating suites and patient bedside
- Selecting technical factors to ensure high-quality images
- Maintaining equipment functionality and performing routine maintenance tasks
- Updating patient information and verifying documentation
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved two-year program in Radiology Technology from an AMA-approved school
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technology or eligibility to register within 3 months of hire
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as patient safety principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
