The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Policy Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring safe and effective anesthetic care for patients during surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement patient-centered care by monitoring vital signs and anesthetic considerations to contribute to the healthcare team's mission of compassion and integrity.
- Ensure accurate and safe anesthetic care while adhering to hospital and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or intentional or accidental disclosure.
- Demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient care.
- Engage in continuous projects that maintain and advance professional competency.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program.
- Graduation from a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs.
- Prior clinical experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line is preferred but not required.
- AANA Certification.
- State of CT RN and APRN License.
- ACLS DEA Registration and State of CT Controlled Substance Registration.
