Duties and Responsibilities:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing complex radiologic procedures and CT scans to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and compliance with safety protocols when handling hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing various radiologic procedures at a technical level
- Assuming responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required
- Rotating on-call as needed
- High school graduate or G.E.D., graduation from an ARRT-approved program in radiologic technology
- One to two years of experience in a CT department preferred; previous radiographic experience required
- Current Connecticut State license in Radiographer, BLS required
- ARRT Registered and Computed Tomography (CT) certified
