Job Description
The Radiology Technologist will perform a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex diagnostic imaging equipment, including:
- Following routine protocols and referring to source documents to ensure accurate exams are performed.
- Assisting schedulers, physicians, nursing staff, and other relevant personnel with scheduling, requisitions, pre-authorization, patient preparation instructions, and exam-related communications.
- Providing quality and compassionate patient care to ensure cooperation, safety, and satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduation from an A.M.A.-accredited program in radiography or related field.
- Three years of recent radiography experience, with at least one year at Greenwich Hospital.
- Demonstrated above-average technical skills and excellent communication abilities.
- RT(R) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Connecticut State License, and CPR certification preferred.
