Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologists play a vital role in ensuring accurate diagnoses for patients by performing complex radiologic functions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, be able to manage patient information effectively, and ensure the quality of imaging procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various clerical duties, including verification of information and exams performed
- Operate highly complex radiographic equipment within the radiology department, selecting technical factors to ensure high-quality images
- Assess patient history, interview patients, and review clinical data from charts to alert any party to possible contradictions for procedure
- Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to maintain high standards of patient care and technical performance
Requirements:
- A graduate of an approved two-year program in Radiologic Technology
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technology or registry eligible
- A minimum of one year of experience in nuclear medicine technology
