Job Summary
">We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiac Lab Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures using specialized angiographic equipment, producing high-quality IR images, and assisting with the selection and preparation of catheters and guide wires.
Key Responsibilities

- Operate specialized radiographic equipment for technique selection, filming, and processing of specialized radiographic images. ">
- Employ special imaging techniques to enhance the diagnostic quality of the radiographic image. ">
- Assist with the selection and preparation of catheters and guide wires according to departmental protocols. ">
- Assist with the instruction of special techniques for staff and residents as directed. ">
- Instruct staff members in special techniques and use of specialized instrumentation/equipment in accordance with department protocols. ">
- Review inventory levels periodically to assure adequate levels of inventories. ">
- Type all applicable information into the computer system, including demographic patient information from consults. ">
- Contribute to an effective quality management and quality control program for assigned area. ">
