Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Properly setting up angiographic equipment prior to exams
- Producing high-quality images during and after procedures
- Supplying physicians with necessary equipment and materials
- Maintaining accurate records and billing information using HIS, RIS, PACS, and procedure QA modules
- Collaborating with staff to ensure smooth department operations and maximize patient throughput
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital radiology department
- RT(R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in routine IR imaging techniques and above-average knowledge of computer/PACS applications
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
