Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description
You will perform a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality radiographic images as requested for subsequent interpretation by the radiologist.
Job Requirements- Efficiently follow routine protocols and demonstrate independent judgment.
- Actively participate in workflow activities to ensure the goals of the department are met and run efficiently.
- Perform quality and compassionate patient care to ensure cooperation, safety, and satisfaction.
- Perform various record-keeping, customer service functions to ensure exam charges are properly billed.
Graduation from an A.M.A.-approved Radiologic Technology program is required. You must have three years of recent radiography experience with at least one year at Greenwich Hospital.
Demonstrated above-average technical skills and excellent communication skills are essential. RT(R) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Connecticut State License, and CPR certification are preferred.
