About the Role
The Radiologic Technologist will perform various duties related to imaging procedures, emphasizing patient-centered care and collaboration as part of the healthcare team. This includes operating CAT scan equipment, selecting and operating equipment as directed for patient exams, and obtaining pertinent clinical information from patients and charts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of imaging procedures and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the scanners for patient imaging.
- Sets up and operates the CAT Scan equipment to ensure accuracy and picture quality.
- Selects and operates equipment as directed for patient exam.
- Obtains pertinent clinical information from patients and charts, explains procedure and encourages cooperation through quality patient care.
