Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance to invasive cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac angiographic procedures. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safest and most efficient delivery of these procedures while maintaining optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-procedural education to patients scheduled for diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiac procedures.
- Ensure proper preparation of patients and equipment necessary to perform designated procedures.
- Maintain a clean and efficient environment for patients, staff, and physicians by ensuring the maintenance of equipment, inventory, and physical plant.
- Document patient arrivals within 1-2 minutes.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in the operation of C-arm and Life-Pak Defibrillator/Monitor.
