We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Infection Prevention and Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures, conducting thorough investigations of infections and outbreaks, and educating healthcare staff on infection prevention practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based infection control policies and procedures
- Investigate infections and outbreaks, identify root causes, and develop recommendations for improvement
- Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention best practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient safety and quality of care
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut
- 2 years of acute care RN experience or oncology RN experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
