Responsibilities
Will assist in oversight of lab operations, monitoring day-to-day operations, scheduling / edits to work assignments; advanced problem-solving resolution; ordering & inventory control; QC & QA programs. Lead special projects re: IT changes, new protocols, implementation/evaluation of new instrumentation. Provide technical assistance to staff, employee appraisal & serve as resource for complex problems. Maintain procedures; implement all new/revised procedures & communicate to employees; proficiency testing oversight following all routine standards.
Qualifications
Min. Req.:
B.S. in Medical Technology or related field, plus 2 years experience in clinical laboratory.
ASCP Certification in MLS/MT prior to employment commencing.
