Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care, including rooming patients and performing clerical tasks
- Manage medical records, ensuring accuracy and up-to-dateness
- Support physicians with appointment scheduling and patient communication
- Ensure patient confidentiality and dignity throughout the care process
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program or certification/registration as a medical assistant (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical assistant in a primary care or specialist office
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
