Detailed Responsibilities
- Conduct resident rounds, direct care for C.A.s and LPNs, and initiate corrective action and reporting issues/actions taken to nursing supervisor.
- Identify resident problems and emergency situations, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Assess patient data collected by licensed practical nurses, perform basic nursing skills, and complete admission, transfer, and discharge of residents according to facility policy.
- Develop care plans based on assessments, participate in care conferences, and document comprehensive assessment of each resident.
