Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Care Center (ECC) at Yale New Haven Health System provides patient-centered care in accordance with the institution's mission, vision, values, and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with the patient and family
- Communicates and works collaboratively with the patient, family, and healthcare team members
- Respects the patient's values, preferences, expressed needs, and knowledge of the healthcare situation in holistic data collection, formulation of healthcare outcomes, and evaluation
The RN practices professional nursing as a registered nurse within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice, ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the YNHHS Professional Practice Model.

Education and Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
