We seek a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care, education, and leadership in our healthcare team. Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and psychosocial conditions, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and can manage their health effectively.
- Assist healthcare providers during medical procedures, maintaining a sterile field and adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Oversee the work of non-RN personnel, promoting a culture of safety and accountability within the department.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently, using electronic records to track progress and communicate with the care team.
- Fulfill preceptoring duties, guiding new staff members in their roles and responsibilities.
- Perform charge nurse functions, coordinating department operations and ensuring seamless workflow.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- 2-3 years of experience in nursing, preferably in urology or ambulatory care settings.
- Valid State of Rhode Island Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support certification.
- Proficiency in electronic patient records and computer software.
