Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Summary

We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London, CT. As a CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing safe, patient-centric anesthetic care in diverse surgical environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement accurate and safe patient-centered anesthetic care
• Complete thorough anesthesia apparatus safety checks and monitoring equipment usage during delivery of anesthetic care
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Monitor patients' physiological conditions
• Perform clinical interventions as needed
• Protect patient health information in all forms

Requirements

• Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program
• Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs
• Current State of Connecticut Nursing License and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
• AANA Certification, ACLS DEA Registration, and State of CT Controlled Substance Registration

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line is recommended but not required
