Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including taking patient medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions, ensuring accurate and timely medical interventions.
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments, in accordance with established protocols and patient-specific needs.
- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.
- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements, research, and best practices through continuous professional development.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control protocols and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and clinic operations.
- Attends Provider/Staff meetings and daily huddles
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Physician.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Physician, preferably in a walk-in clinic or urgent care setting.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant medical software.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the clinic's schedule.
