Responsibilities
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including taking patient medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions, ensuring accurate and timely medical interventions.- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments, in accordance with established protocols and patient-specific needs.- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans.- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.- Stay updated with the latest medical advancements, research, and best practices through continuous professional development.- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of medical practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control protocols and healthcare regulations.- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and clinic operations.- Attends Provider/Staff meetings and daily huddles Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Physician.- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine) is preferred.- Proven experience as a Physician, preferably in a walk-in clinic or urgent care setting.- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant medical software.- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the clinic's schedule.
