Overview
Northeast Medical Group, Inc. seeks a Unit Medical Director to work at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients from admissions to discharge. Responsibilities include interacting with all members of the patient care team, providing the primary care physician with a summary of the patient’s stay (including diagnosis, prescriptions, and treatment), and participating in the training of house-staff physicians, students, nurses, and members of the patient care team.
Minimum Requirements : M.D. or D.O. degree or certified foreign equivalent degree, valid CT physician license, completion of internal medicine residency training, and BE / BC in Internal Medicine, all prior to employment commencing.
