Position Focus :
Leverage knowledge of medical education, related competencies, and pedagogy to align technology solutions with educational goals, ensuring they support curriculum development and student learning outcomes. Partner with faculty and subject matter experts to ideate, develop, and refine innovative prototype ideas for integrating emerging technologies into medical education. Liaise with faculty and IT staff to analyze learning goals and design and prototype solutions that integrate AI, XR, and other emerging technologies, ensuring they meet the needs of medical educators and students. Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and speaker series focused on AI, extending reality (XR), and other technologies, fostering a culture of innovation among faculty and staff. Assess proposals for new projects, technologies, and vendors, providing data-driven recommendations to ensure alignment with educational goals and strategic priorities. Analyze educational technology to assess the effectiveness of educational interventions, providing insights for continuous improvement and future development, and co-author white papers or research articles about the design, effectiveness, or lessons from educational technology.
Essential Duties
1. Serve as the senior lead analyst for large, complex business systems; provide mentoring, coaching to project team members; provide training & development to new team hires. 2. Identify business systems or process solution requirements by interviewing clients; analyzing work processes and operations; establish solution objectives; evaluate systems functionality to identify gaps; evaluating the solution impact. 3. Lead the process to document business requirements to include sign-off by stakeholders. 4. Oversee and manage the implementation of new requirements and plans; provide insight to system strategic planning; develop and establish best practices. 5. Verify business system solutions; oversee the development and implementation of test plans; overall system quality assurance; develop testing standards. 6. Participate in the development of communication plans for system changes; determine timeline for the dissemination of communications and the support and resource requirements associated with each change. 7. Prepare cost estimates; identify resource allocations and equipment costs; plan project post-development support model.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree and seven years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
