Job Responsibility
Patient Care : Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations, to develop effective treatment plans.
Clinical Management : Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care, adjust treatments as necessary, and ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Technological Integration : Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technologies to enhance patient outcomes and streamline processes.
Patient Education : Provide patients and their families with education on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Follow-Up Care : Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups and adjust care plans based on evolving patient needs.
Collaboration : Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to case discussions and decision-making processes to optimize patient care.
Job Requirements
Education : A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field from an accredited program.
Licensure : Valid and active Physician Assistant (PA) license and board certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Experience : A minimum of 2-5 years of clinical experience in Geriatrics, Primary Care, or Psychiatry is preferred.
Skill Set : Proven ability to utilize technology effectively in a clinical setting and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Technical Skills
Clinical Proficiency : Strong understanding of clinical practices and protocols relevant to Geriatrics, Primary Care, and Psychiatry.
Health IT Literacy : Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telemedicine technologies to improve patient interactions and outcomes.
Diagnostic Skills : Proficient in performing diagnostic procedures and interpreting results to inform treatment plans.
Regulatory Knowledge : Understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and ethical practices in the medical field.
