Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining spaces and restrooms.
- Adhere to food safety standards while serving food and beverages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Utilize POS system for order entry and payment processing.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Experience in beverage service is a plus.
- A strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
