Training Coordinator / Digital Media
The Training Coordinator is responsible for delivering both classroom and on-the-job production training to groups of varying sizes, from large teams to individual employees. Also, this role is responsible for the production and post-production of video content for various digital media platforms. This role involves operating video cameras, setting up lighting, capturing high-quality audio, and editing footage to create engaging content. Required to collaborate with other trainers to align with business objectives and ensure workforce competency. Key responsibilities include Video SOP development/maintenance, facilitating required training activities such as Final Inspection, Critical Process Inspection, and line-side work instructions essential for production operations. Flexibility in work hours is required to meet training goals effectively. Additionally, this position may support other training-related initiatives based on departmental needs and priorities.
1. Operate/maintain video cameras and other recording equipment.
2. Set up lighting and audio equipment for video shoots.
3. Capture high-quality video and audio footage.
4. Edit video footage using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
5. Assists in the creation & maintenance of documented training materials as necessary.
6. Training Development business related goals
7. Facilitates & assists in designing of testing when required.
8. 30 & 365-day follow-up evaluations
9. Reports activities to Training Manager as necessary.
10. 1 week reporting filing and communication
11. Final Inspection Evaluation reporting.
12. Training on Specific modules
13. Training Test result tracking and filing
14. E-Learning development
15. LMS Support
Other Functions
1. Interacts with coworkers, production teams, and customers.
2. Interacts with the immediate supervisor to discuss issues, if any.
3. Maintains a clean working environment.
4. Continuously seeks to improve processes and procedures.
5. Attends outside training classes when necessary.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or 1-3 years of relevant experience in production processes or training environment.
Experience This position would prefer to have basic manufacturing knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and engineering terminologies.
Skills: This position would prefer to have the following skills:
1. Able to instruct utilizing TWI method. (Tell, Show, Do)
2. Sufficient voice volume to teach in large meetings and on the production floor.
3. Good interpersonal, time-management, organizational, project tracking, and multi-tasking skills.
4. Computer, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
5. LMS experience or other training tracking software’s.
6. iSpring Suite, Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360 or other publishing tools
7. Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or other video editing software
Working Conditions This position requires the ability to work in a climate-controlled office, plant / facility / floor operations, walk on concrete floors, lift up to 30 pounds, perform repetitive keystrokes on a continual basis, standing for long periods of time and occasional bending, twisting, reaching. Also requires occasionally working before or past normal work hours to complete work assignments as needed.
Salary : $21 - $25
